IIoT Solutions for Resource Metering and Infrastructure Management

iDomus was founded in 2015 as an engineering company specializing in the development of solutions for remote monitoring and control of urban and industrial infrastructure. From the outset, the company was built by a team of experts with over 20 years of experience in delivering projects in the fields of electronic communications and information technologies.

We began with the development of proprietary Smart Home solutions and subsequently focused on designing our own electronic modules and sensors for Smart Metering, enabling accurate measurement of electricity, water, gas, and heat consumption. This experience laid the foundation for the creation of comprehensive IIoT platforms that integrate hardware, telemetry, software, and wireless connectivity for utility providers and municipalities.

This is how iDomus evolved into a full-cycle manufacturing and technology company. We design electronics, firmware, controllers, and IoT platforms; develop radio modules for metering devices; build gateways for LoRaWAN networks; and deliver integrated solutions for smart city lighting management as well as infrastructure and building management systems (BMS). All products — from electronic circuit design and prototyping to mass production, testing, and backend infrastructure — are developed in Moldova.

Today, iDomus IIoT devices are deployed across dozens of cities and communities. More than 100,000 managed devices daily transmit data on resource consumption, equipment status, and infrastructure parameters, enabling utility operators, municipalities, and enterprises to monitor engineering networks and reduce operational costs.

Our LoRaWAN networks provide reliable connectivity for Smart Metering, Smart Lighting, and urban monitoring systems, while the IoT platform visualizes data in real time and automates asset and infrastructure management.

We continue to expand our ecosystem of devices and software solutions, scale our manufacturing capabilities, and bring Moldovan IIoT technologies to the international market. Today, iDomus already exports its solutions to EU countries, and the geography of deployments continues to grow. The company’s mission remains unchanged.
